We are an interdisciplinary group of designers who believe environments elevate human potential when people, purpose, and ideas are connected to place. To this end, as a studio, we’re always interested in the whole picture; the ability design has to bring all the pieces together to create authentic place that elevates.

Working within this context has inspired us to be more than architects or interior designers; but to be students, teachers, researchers, strategists, planners, artists, analysts, environmentalists, fabricators, experimenters, neighbors, customers, community advocates, and so much more. In order for us to create this harmony and authenticity, we must understand how each part of the environment works with the others and the whole.
When we begin a project, we take a careful catalogue of all the existing components: from the physical things like site and required space, to the abstract things like identity and brand; these are equally important in creating a genuine space for the community it serves.

Each project and its design process is, therefore, different from one another. We begin by seeking to understand your needs, your people, and your vision, to provide you with research and diverse ideas for an authentic space.

While each organization has its own identity, each space its own context, and each project its own program, there is a basic framework comprised of the following principles, which is fundamental to human life and connection, and which every project should be designed within.
The following are an overview of these six principles:

Resiliance

Creating spaces that can easily adapt to changing needs.

Choice

Empowering people boosts happiness,
engagement, & productivity.

Integration

Spaces are provided for people of all backgrounds, beliefs, ages, and physical, mental, and emotional abilities.

Wellness

Environments that promote the health & wellbeing of it’s occupants.

Sustainability

Holistic strategies applied to minimize environmental impact and cultivate a culture of conscientious habit

Inspiration

More than ever, people are looking for fulfillment out of where they work and connection to culture
