A continuation of the work for Nike’s Regional Service Centers, Connect sought to build on the ideas and designs from Nike Adapt. Where Adapt’s aim was to showcase sport, Connect advances this by offering a holistic, immersive sport journey. Upon entry, employees are presented with a full-sized futsul pitch, which not only provides a sport amenity, but is used in team building exercises throughout the year.

Progressing through the space, a central locker area is arranged along the main circulation path which connects to the administrative offices, basketball court, and fitness center, and which ultimately leads to the distribution floor. Clustered with the locker area, main restrooms, mothers’ rooms, wellness rooms, a training room, and a recruitment area create a central core from which the sport amenities radiate. This immersion of sport is rooted in a deep culture of health. To that end, a new café connects to a terraced outdoor space, offering an abundance of choice in dining, lounge, and social engagement spaces.
