Nour Ziada

Nour’s interest in design is influenced heavily by her personal journey, which has inspired her research into refugee camps as informal settlements and displacement shelters, and an exploration into what it means to shelter. This continues to inform her design work at Fox, where she crafts environments that are considerate, equitable, and safe. Outside of architecture, Nour creates art in the form of digital collages, watercolors, and acrylic paintings to draw attention to her rich Palestinian culture and heritage.

Nour initially began her collegiate journey in Palestine, where she was in the Bachelor of Architectural Engineering program at Berzeit University. After immigrating to Saint Louis, she completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Architectural Technology, magna cum laude, at Ranken Technical College in 2019. She earned her Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from Washington University in 2023.
